DO Something to make the world more beautiful - Allen Texas Photographer

Well, it happened.   Even after all our efforts to restore the JCP bluebonnet fields back in 2014, word has spread that the JCPenney bluebonnets are no more, the property has been sold and construction has been happening.  And yes it has, there is a huge mound of dirt and construction equipment  rolling across the bluebonnets as a bank is being built on the spot right now.

After seven year of shooting on this property, it is one sad sight to see.  Professional Photographers and moms alike, are on the hunt for a new bluebonnet spot.

Today,  some good news!   I was so happy to help do what I can to keep these bluebonnet fields alive.

"You must DO SOMETHING to make the world more beautiful?" - Mrs Rumphius, The Lupine Lady

Courtney Blissett and I met with NBC DFW News Reporter Kevin Cokely and the new owner of the JCPenney property and most importantly the bluebonnet fields.  He has grand plans for his newest campus property. It was really wonderful to meet him, learn his background as a arborist and his love of nature and trees.

Our segment will air tonight at 5:00 pm on NBC DFW.   Please watch!
