A gorgeous red clover flower field - The Woodlands Texas family photographer

In my years as the "wildflower hunter" in Allen, Texas I had never shot in a red clover field.  We never saw a red cover field or a red clover!   In our move to The Woodlands, Texas, I am so missing all my known fields and favorite wildflower locations.   So imagine my joy to happen across this red clover field.  The flowers have so much depth in color  with shades of red giving way to deep pinks.

These adorable little gals joined me and I love the image of them laughing with each other - they were practicing on the way over.  I couldn't help but smile at them as I looked at the images!!

Now that I think of it, I did shoot in another red field just 1 year.  It was the only year this field full of red poppies grew nearby.  The red poppies are a bit more of an orange red that a deep red.

Happy shooting.
