The Harvest Moon - Woodlands Photographer

I've always wanted a wonderful image of a full moon, and have photographed it many times with my longest lens the 70 - 200 . . . and they were just okay images.    THEN I am borrowing a friends 500 mm lens and OH WOW!

On the good side of our move means less clients, and more time for me to try new things photographically.   I've been able to finally get my Milky Way and Moon images that I have dreamed about.

Years ago I read quote saying if you had things you worried about, just change your perspective and think what earth would look like if you were standing on the moon. Your worried, concerns, issues would seem inconsequential in the scope of things.

It was amazing to see the gorgeous harvest moon over The Woodlands, Texas one morning last week, especially since we've had so much off and on rain these past few weeks.

Enjoy!
