We spent our Fall break weekend visiting Allen, Texas from The Woodlands, Texas. It was so wonderful to see long-time friends and our karate family. The smiles on my children’s faces were endless, and they dubbed the weekend as “friend fest”.
While my family slept in Allen, Texas, I escaped at sunrise to visit this beautiful cotton field right around the corner from my old home. Texas Snow! It is amazing to think all the different types of fields farmers have planted over the years, I’m sure you will remember beautiful sunflowers right off 75.
Truly I hope that our former little town – named 2nd best place to live by Money Magazine – remains keeping lots of green spaces and crop fields.
Thank you Paula!

Little people call her Camera Girl. Elizabeth’s little people, two boys, call her Mommy. She calls on her Canon, enthusiasm for the outdoors, creativity as a former toy maker, excitement for discovery, and addiction to Starbucks coffee to guide the littles, middles, and their families on photographic adventures. Elizabeth’s love of nature and volunteer work at a local conservancy keep her connected to the land, and always seeking new settings where she can capture the natural light, the beauty of the local fauna, and the candid and the magical moments of the families she guides.
I live in Houston texas. Can you tell me if there are any cotton fields near me. Where is the location of the filed location.
Hello! This cotton field was in North Texas in Sept 2018. I’ve heard there are fields in south of Houston.
