I Heart My Country is this week’s theme at http://www.iheartfaces.com/.  We moved last week and I came across a few old CD’s of photos, when I used my little Fuji Point and Shoot camera.    (Wish I had my DSLR then!)   These landscape photos from different parts of the country really bring home for me the variety and beauty that is our country.

This first photo was taken a few years ago from a Hot Air Balloon Ride from my parent’s lakehouse. It was so beautiful floating over the rolling hills of Virginia in the early am as the fog was dissappating and the sun was coming up.

Before kids, my husband and I did an overnight rafting and camping trip on the Rio Grande in Big Bend National Park in Texas.  It was beautiful in a different way.  If you look close you can see the other rafters and our campsite along the river.  Oh and that sunflare was not added in – total lovely accident.

Last one needs no explanation – Happy Birthday America!

GORGEOUS! the foggy one is my fav!

Love the pics! The hot air balloon shot is downright AMAZING! The building grabs your eye and then takes it to the fog intermingled in the trees. WOW!!!
