Ya’ll . . my babies.
Do yo remember when you started photography? Did you start learning photography with your own babies?
My oldest started violin lessons last year and my youngest started cello lessons this year. It’s been on my mind for the past year to take images of my oldest outside at sunset with his violin, but homework, relaxing and life happens. This was the violin shoot that inspired me.
Oh and boys – did I mention boys?
I’ve seen this fine art series style before, mainly with girls. So I just recently thought, “I think I can pull this together myself” for me and my boys. And the cool things is that I didn’t have to purchase a thing, we had everything right here. The faux velvet burgundy jackets were from the holidays 2017, and the “ascot” is just a leftover piece of pretty fabric used in the past to make one of my ETSY handmade patchwork tents.
I’m so in love with these images, mainly cause it’s so different from my normal art, it’s my babies and the reason I picked up a camera in the first place. Our children still deserve beautiful images of them at every age!
