If you’ve seen my posts you may have noticed I tried my hand at a bit of astrophotography in the past month, see The Milky Way

Lately, I’m testing out a bit of Macro photography and have been enjoying a evening gander outside around my yard snap away with a borrowed Canon 2.8 Macro L lens.    For a while I’ve been using a clip on iPhone macro lens which is fun, but the images from that can’t compete with the beauty of the Canon L Lens.  It takes a bit of getting used to, especially the slower focusing.  I’ve been shooting at my usual 2.8 with out a tripod, so that may be the reason I have to toss quite a few.

The little teeny bug was about 1 cm in size, so you can see the clarity of the Macro lens!
