This little Carnival of many moons ago is getting very busy and very popular. It was packed on Saturday evening with hoards of teens and preteens including my own and their friends.
I snuck back on the last night of the carnival thinking it may be less crowded, as I really wanted to try a slow shutter Ferris Wheel shot. I park super close, walk to the Ferris Wheel in minutes, start to set up and realize I’ve forgotten my TRIPOD PLATE! This is a critical error in slow shutter photography. So I had to make the best of it and balance my camera on top of the tripod and hold it as still as possible.
It seemed to work pretty well, don’t ya think?
