Wondering where to find those baby bluebonnets in Plano, Texas and the surrounding towns?

  1.  Bluebonnet Trail Greenbelt –  Plano Texas – The bluebonnet trail runs from Central Express way to Midway Road then continues along Spring Creek Parkway and Chase Oaks Boulevard. The best spot are along Spring Creek and Custer Road behind the 711 You can also park near the new Jack Carter park and pool, then stroll along the trail to find the bluebonnets. The link to Plano Parks and Red more info HERE!

2) Bethany Drive Median – Allen, Texas – Be careful parking your car here, as the police occasionally come by. I’d also not recommend this area for toddlers, as the road runs east and west along side the median.

3) Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve, Plano – Spring Creek Parkway by the amphitheater. The website HERE!

4) Plano Park and Recs Wildflower Location map is very helpful and is below:

4) Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, Plano Texas – along Parker Road near the entrance to the park.  It looks wonderful this year! The link for Arbor Hills is HERE!

5) Ennis, Texas – This is a 1 hour drive south of Plano but so beautiful and always worth it.  Just do a visit to Visit Ennis Texas  for Ennis Bluebonnet Trails and you’ll find a map for a north and a south driving route.

6) Mallard Park at Lake Lavon – 7780 TX-78 Lavon TX.  This park is part of Texas State Parks and the link for more info is HERE.

7) Warren’s Park Freedom Meadow in Frisco, Texas. This meadow is a tribute to those who lost their lives on 9/11.  The City of Frisco has more info on this LINK.

8) Mary Heads Carter Park – Carrolton, Texas.  A synthetic turf playground and bluebonnets in the spring – amazing. You can find info from the City of Carrolton in this LINK.
