It was quite windy blowing this sweet girls long hair and I asked if she’d help to make her hair fly by tossing it back – I think she thought I was crazy, so some of her smiles were her giggling at me! I just loved the way her hair was blowing behind her. She is so adorable and can now be my secret spy on my son in class. Don’t tell him!
It seems I’ve only had a couple of bluebonnet sessions this year, as the bluebonnets nearby just weren’t that fabulous in my opinion. I prefer large full field of amazing fresh bluebonnets that look like a bluebonnet sea and smell wonderful. The one hour drive out to Chapel Hill and Brenham area is amazingly fabulous and definitely worth the drive.
This spring, mainly I was shooting in these tall yellow flowers, here they are mixed with bluebonnets. These tall yellow flowers – really weeds – are everywhere and they make such a pretty backdrop. A few were dug up and transplanted in the woods behind me as I hope one day to have my own yellow field.
Happy shooting!
