It’s been over ten years that I’ve been a photographer in the Plano, and Allen Texas area. It’s fantastic to discover the orange colors of fall in November, the blue blooming beauties of spring in March on the sides of the road , and the coolness of winter in an occasional snowflake in Texas. For family photography, there are my evergreen photo locations that I love, it’s always fantastic to have new places and adventures to discover as time marches on.

I’ve been exploring Legacy West and ended up shooting not just in the middle of the street but wandering around the edges. This nature spot was right on a corner! 
The neutral colors and enormous planters really helped this gal to stand out in this setting! It was also winter but you’d never know!
The Grandscape is a newer outdoor complex of shopping, restaurants, movies, gaming, outdoor concerts, fountains and festivals. Last year it was the perfect backdrop for my family session, and I loved the quiet tucked away areas:

Little people call her Camera Girl. Elizabeth’s teen people, two boys, call her Mommy. She calls on her Canon, her Fuji, enthusiasm for the outdoors, creativity as a toy & game maker, excitement for discovery, and addiction to Starbucks coffee to guide the littles, middles, and their families on photographic adventures.
